No, petrified wood isn't frightened, it's actually fossilized wood. So in essence, just like every gemstone, you're wearing a piece of history that just happens to be between 50 and 500 million years old. Holy cow! I made the two stranded wire frame by twisting it by hand. stamped a little silver piece and soldered it to the backplate, and added lots of fun silver balls.
