Citrine Pendant

Rose cut citrine set in fine and sterling silver. So what does "rose cut" actually mean? Well, it's a style of stone cutting, where the back is flat and the top is faceted. It's been around since the time of Henry the 8th. I love making jewelry that employs old techniques, some of which have been around for thousands of years. For the design, I hand stamped silver pieces and then soldered them to the back plate. Set in a picture frame setting, this citrine is feeling quite happy.
